Turner Roses Centrepiece

Joseph Turner was a genius. A Royal Academy exhibitor at just 15 he was arguably England’s greatest painter. Often described as the forerunner of the Impressionists, he had a life-long fascination with light, colour and texture — which are also key elements in flower arranging. In fact Turner’s paintings were the inspiration for these stunning displays — the centrepiece features the subtle tones of large blush roses, wild white roses, petite yellow ranunculus and dramatic hydrangeas, offset by rosehips. They are vibrant and versatile and quite simply pretty as a picture.
