Description

Our 65cm long Blue Hydrangea Stem features a stunning flowerhead that is a full 15cm across. Featuring a purple centre blending to sky blue tinged with the palest green, each impressive flower is captured in its prime and is perfectly framed by 4 dark green leaves. Ideal displayed in a contemporary cluster with our other hydrangea stems, or to add texture and fullness to arrangements with complimentary flowers.
Brought from the foothills of the Himalayas in the late 18th century, hydrangeas caused an instant sensation amongst gardeners. Famed for producing pink flowers when grown in alkaline soil conditions, ours is captured in the blue tones of a more acidic soil.
